365 days of gratitude

Beginning of the year is the time when you start working on your new resolutions. You want to get slimmer, quit smoking, be a better partner, become a better parent etc.
After few weeks you lose your motivation and the resolutions are forgotten by the end of January.
It is crucial to make a good plan for your resolutions and keep your motivation high, but... today not about making plans, but about remembering some facts, which will help you to get a motivational boost.

How many of you took a moment to think about last year events? What good happened in those 365 days?
Nowadays, you think that you must get all you want. You take everything for granted. If you work, you must get a raise. If you go shopping you buy what you want by giving to the cashier some “green cards” with face of Andrew Jackson. It's normal you say...
Not everyone wonder that these “normal” things are not so “normal” for everyone. Some people are not payed every month, others go shopping and even if they have money, the shelves are empty, so they can't buy anything!

So... you can say that you are very lucky!
Now... STOP for few seconds and be grateful for what you have!
Take a sheet of paper and write 365 things, that happened last year, that you feel grateful for.

Write about everything, about the coffee you had with your old friend, about a raise, about preparing a perfect dinner for your partner, about solving a crossword puzzles without help of the Internet, about holidays in Mexico.... Write everything you remember!

Why so many things? Well... there are 365 days in a year and I want you to find at least one thing for each day. It is also true that the more you write, the better you feel.
Keep the list close to you and read it every time you feel blue, when you don't have energy to work and you miss motivation, and if you have a spare notebook, start a “Gratitude Diary” (more info in the movie below).

Good luck!
